Off they went!!

So the time has come when friends will wonder off to different places to accomplish their goals in life. And it is time like these that one step can make a huge different in ones own life.

And the journey starts with a group of friends who live on an Island for such a long time. And in a search for a better future, they all decide to take a leap of faith for the search for their happiness. The Saipan YSA has been a strong followers of Christ and still is. They've been a great examples to those around them and have touch many lifes. They've given many supports in their faith and also to their little Island. They found what they love doing and whats keep them smiling and they went after it :) But little do they know that the time has come for them to disband themselves from each other to gain a better reward. The message they left behind for their friends and their fellow brothers and sisters in the gospel was that "LOVE was their motive and CHRIST was their reason". And though they knew that it might be a while for their road to cross again there were SMILES for in them there was HOPE! but even if their roads did not cross in this life there were smiles glowing for they all knew that if they stay faithful to the end, they will see each other again! :)

Be strong...

Though time seems slow and rough, We learn that patient does work itself off. Few may say "It's time like these that I felt abandon by my Heavenly father " but some rather say, "Its time like these that I came closer to my Savior Jesus Christ and Heavenly father". And as for me I would have to say that we should be patient towards all that is unsolved in our heart and try to love the questions themselves. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live them. And the point is to live everything. Live the questions. Remember "The art of medicine consists of amusing the patient while nature cures the disease". My friends always abide in patient.
Love yall......

Manila Temple Trip

The Temple Trip to Manila was amazing! Truly a spiritual experience. :)

COOK OFF!

Ok, so despite the fact that the guys schooled the girls, this was a pretty awesome event! (And this is coming from the ever dedicated YSA blogger who has yet to come to an activity--don't worry, that will all change).

This was the first ever, Offical YSA Cook Off. It is rumored that the judges had a difficult choice, and were torn between the brilliance of the boys and the gloriousness of the girls. When push came to shove, the guys pulled ahead for the win. Everyone did an excellent job. It looks like these young people are self-sufficient--or at least know their way around a kitchen and stove.

THE BREAKDOWN
Taste: Boys - 210 Girls - 140
Creativity: Boys - 50 Girls - 40
Presentation: Boys - 23 Girls - 30
TOTAL: Boys - 283 Girls - 210

Next year's cook off will be even grander, so get those taste buds ready for the trip of their lives...or at least an interesting adventure. :)
