Manila Temple Trip

The Temple Trip to Manila was amazing! Truly a spiritual experience. :)

Ok, so despite the fact that the guys schooled the girls, this was a pretty awesome event! (And this is coming from the ever dedicated YSA blogger who has yet to come to an activity--don't worry, that will all change).

This was the first ever, Offical YSA Cook Off. It is rumored that the judges had a difficult choice, and were torn between the brilliance of the boys and the gloriousness of the girls. When push came to shove, the guys pulled ahead for the win. Everyone did an excellent job. It looks like these young people are self-sufficient--or at least know their way around a kitchen and stove.

Taste: Boys - 210 Girls - 140
Creativity: Boys - 50 Girls - 40
Presentation: Boys - 23 Girls - 30
TOTAL: Boys - 283 Girls - 210

Next year's cook off will be even grander, so get those taste buds ready for the trip of their lives...or at least an interesting adventure. :)

Where's Waldo?

Hey all! Welcome to the new YSA Blog! :) This place is the happenin' place to be cyberspace-wise. Not only will you be kept updated on the comings and goings of the funnest age group known to the Saipan Branch, you'll also be wildly entertained too.
This past Wednesday, the Young Single Adults helped make a Priest-Laurel Activity memorable. "Where's Waldo" with a flair! Madison said, "This Priest-Laurel Activity was the best ever!!" If Madison said that, you know it's true.

The winning team!!

A few of the "Waldos"

By far the best disguised. Any guesses? Better yet, any guesses how long it took to put all that foundation on and how long it took to get it all off?
The Priests and Laurels with their faithful Young Men's President, Jari.

The "Waldos". Give 'em a round of applause boys!
All in all this activity was a roaring success. Loved by Priests, Laurels, and Single Adults alike. To find out what surprises these Young Single Adults have in store, stay tuned!
